Out-of-control parents screaming at referees, taunting opposing players, and even berating their own children is a troubling issue in youth sports today. This presentation identifies ways to help coaches and school administrators work with parents to (a) keep their sideline behavior positive, (b) encourage players’ character development and social emotional regulation through sports. This session will provide tools to build a cooperative parent community in your gyms and on your sport fields.
